What is Physiotherapy?
The career has many specialties including musculoskeletal, orthopedics, cardiopulmonary, neurology, endocrinology, sports medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, women's health, wound care and electromyography. PTs practice in many settings, both public and private.
However, if a physio has achieved higher educational level eg: PhD, he/she can be addressed as Doctor.
What is Hands-On Physiotherapy?

Chiropractise falls under alternative medicine. They are commonly seen in private chiro centres. Their main clients are musculoskeletal cases.
In physiotherapy, Manipulation (aka cracking bones) is JUST PART of our treatments. Not all patients need a manipulation or so-called spine adjustment.

Spine misalignment are mostly due to muscles imbalance and misused. Therefore effective diagnosis and exercises are more crucial in re-aligning the spine.

Entire treatment session will take place about 45min.
1st consultation session with treatment may take slightly longer than 45min.

What are Benphysio's practise?
You also will Feel soreness over the treated area for 1-2 days or more after session according your body conditions.
This is due to the release of lactic acid from knotted / taut muscles.
Do apply ice pack or cold gel, and increase water intake to reduce the soreness.
