KL Patient Regains Palm and Finger Mobility
A patient from Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur visited us because she could barely point her fingers downward while keeping her palm facing upwards, making the gesture difficult to perform. The restricted movement also affected her ability to perform daily tasks and certain exercises.
After a thorough assessment by our physiotherapists—identifying joint restrictions, tight muscles in the forearm and wrist, and postural imbalances—she began a personalised treatment plan. Through manual therapy, myofascial release, wrist mobilisation, and targeted strengthening exercises, her fingers gradually regained the ability to point downwards, and her palm could now be angled towards the wall comfortably.
