Johor Patient with Shoulder Mobility Issues
A patient from Larkin, Johor Bahru visited us because when lying on her back with elbows bent and placed near the sides of her head, her arms could not rest comfortably on the bed. This limitation caused discomfort and restricted movement during daily activities and exercises.
After a detailed assessment by our physiotherapists—identifying shoulder joint restrictions, tightness in the chest and upper back muscles, and postural imbalances—she began a personalised treatment plan. Through manual therapy, myofascial release, shoulder mobilisation, and targeted strengthening exercises, her arms gradually moved closer to the bed level, allowing comfortable positioning and improved shoulder function.
